Afterword: A short story

Hi everyone, this is kanikui.

This is the last part of “I distrusted women because I was dumped by my senpai.” As I said before, I’ll give you the after part.

The story: ……….. The truth is……. I wrote this novel on the premise that I was going to give it up. I didn’t think in my wildest dreams that I would have so many followers when I first posted it. After all, it was my first post.

Besides, the truth is that……. This story was actually about Ichika and Reika competing for Yuya. Ichika ended up going out with her boyfriend due to some unforeseen circumstances, and Reika, well, she just stayed with him.

The reason why this happened is because Reika is just too cute. That’s all there is to it.

And the fundamental part of this story is trust. Believing in someone is not an easy thing to do. But if you don’t have that feeling of believing in someone or something, or wanting to believe in something, you are not a human being.

As for the rest, you were all puzzled by episode 83. To be honest, there were two routes at that time. The route where they fight together and pledge their future, and the one that I published.

I wrote both, but what I ended up submitting was the route of promise. For some reason, the route of fighting together didn’t feel right. Well, it was self-satisfaction, so to speak. Yes. But I think this is fine.

“Reika?”

“What is it? Yu-kun.”

“I can’t breathe.”

“It can’t be helped. I have no choice♪”

We whisper. The reason for the whisper is that this is where we hid in the locker as soon as we could.

The reason why this happened is because I spent time with Reika on the rooftop, and I don’t know if it was nostalgia or not, but we came to the empty room where the festival was held. And then…….

Outside the locker, what a confession is being made right now.

We hastily hid when we sensed someone coming in. If it was a teacher, he would be angry at us for what we were doing here, and for some reason we ended up hiding in a place like this.

“S-senpai, I-I love you.”

Oddly enough, they were seniors and juniors, exactly like us. Though the situation was quite different.

They hugged and kissed each other. Seeing this scene, my girlfriend in front of me was quite jealous.

“If you don’t give me a kiss, I might do something more than that right here.”

“……. Are you sure you want to do that?”

“I don’t mind at all ♪ As long as I can do it with Yuu-kun.”

Before I could say a word, Reika took my lips and kissed me for quite a long time, dozens of seconds, that’s a long kiss, and then she pulled her lips away, as if she couldn’t hold her breath any longer. 

“Y-Yu-ku-nn”

“Reika?”

“I might be at the limit of my patience. Or should I say, I can’t stand it anymore.”

She wraps her arms around my neck and tries to kiss me, but while I’m flailing around trying to get her to let go somehow, I run out and end up pushing Reika down.

Fortunately, the two were no longer there.

“Yu-u-kun”

When I look in front of me, I see Reika in a completely debauched state, and she captures my eyes and doesn’t let go. This face……..

“Shall we do it here?”

“…….”

Then Reika rains kisses on me without even waiting for my reply. I can’t……….. I can’t.

I gently stroke her hair and she wriggles ticklishly. Cute.

Then I pull away from her.

She looks sad, as if the world is dying.

“I’ll go lock the door. Wait for me.”

“Okay.”

I knew it was a bad idea, but I couldn’t resist Reika’s cuteness.
